iPod etching on back of nano has some brown spots?

looking closely at the etching on my nano, instead of a total matte silver that i see on my mini, there's little specks of brown in there, almost rust-like.

someone told me that it just had to do with the laser intensity, and these colors are normal.

anyone else have this?

i seem to be the only one that has it though.
