Hey there!

Here is a computer that I recently got in a trade but decided to go for something different. I will consider any reasonable offer for it. The case is in overall good condition, except for some crackage of the bottom support, which still works just fine.

300 MHz G3 (PPC 750)
320 MB RAM
12 GB HD
CD-ROM (Apple DVD doesnt seem to stay closed, but will include it anyway)
Strawberry keyboard
Puck Mouse
OS X 10.3.9+all security and program updates install
Popular Productivity Suite

Offer away!

eh, it's worth more than that. :)

My b&w runs fairly nice with tiger. I use it to surf the net, adium, pulling torrents, writing papers for class...

Might bump the memory in it a little, then it'd make a decent machine for a parental unit to replace their spyware infested win98 boxen.

Well, I will still look into other offers that may be for less. $70 works for me. :D

I will wait a few days, as is my usual, and take the best offer out of all of them. I consider all of them.

For reference I sold the following for $250 USD a few months ago;

G3 450
1GB RAM
120GB HD
Zip 250
DVD/CD-RW Combo
Radeon 7000 32MB VRAM
USB 2.0 Card

Your machine will also take a hit because it's a Rev A machine, and they had flacky HD controllers.

How about we make offers instead of trashing the thread. I will accept the $70.

If your not interested dont post in his post. The man is trying to sell something. If you want ebay prices, go buy it on ebay. Don't know what your getting, might not get it at all, and go from there. He is being more than reasonable and these machines run Tiger just fine unless your trying to turn it into an expensive Playstation. Nice machine and I am sure someone will be very happy with it.

I know $70 is higher than $40, but if that doesn't work out or something, I could probably do $40. PM me if you still need a buyer!

Well, I do still need a buyer, but would prefer a bit more than $40. I sure hope your offer of $40 does NOT include shipping.

Hmm.....

Hey there my little thread crapping friend!

After reviewing these it seems like the price range is more in the $45-$75 range!

And that doesn't include shipping charges! With shipping you are looking at the $95-$115 range.

Also, note that the specs on mine include double the hard drive of these AND double the RAM! PLUS, you know who you are getting this from.

Conclusion: If you do $60+shipping, that seems like a fair deal to me.

Prices on B & W's have dropped dramatically in the past few years. I bought my perfectly running G3/450 MHz Rev. 2 for $51 on ebay about 7-8 months ago. A Rev. 1 300 Mhz for $24.99 is a little low, but not an unreasonable offer. Your ram adds some value, but not much. The DVD not working hurts value. The keyboard and mouse barely add any value, especially since the keyboard doesn't match. Honestly, $25-$50 is about right.

While some do go for over $100, many do not (with higher speeds, and Rev. 2 motherboards):

How about $60 shipped, with no HD, keyboard, or mouse?

RGunner
Oct 9, 2005, 05:22 PM
Am willing to raise my bid to $45.00 plus shipping (USPS Parcel to 99513). The shipping alone will cost me $30+.

No keyboard / mouse needed.

I think $75, shipped is pretty good, since $30 is my shipping cost, plus, keep in mind the auctions from above that show with shipping these are much more than what I am selling it for here.

This is my current deal I have pending.

I have a limit of $100, I found out that most of that money had to go to pay the iMac that I sold, off.

(Some Apple loan or CC thing, don't ask me.)

I'm interested, I can pay you tomorrow morning, but I'd need it shipped to a different address... :) but I'm PayPal verified so you can trust me :).

What exactly comes with the PowerMac, (full details, like Powercord, etc)....

I've done business with ya in the past (iBook) so I know I can trust ya.

Anyway, the powercord, system, and the DVD drive (now removed) are all included. If you want, there is a strawberry keyboard and blue puck mouse I can include as well.

And I will send it out as soon as I get the money. Or wait, don't you just want it going to skokers' mailing address? Argh. Now I am getting confused, here.

Money goes to: ehilgart at charter dotaldotdot net.

Hey Zach: You could buy it back from me :D

I still have my other iBook from amacgenius, with the same symptoms as the other one, if you want that as well :D

$70.00 Sent with skoker's address in the note and shipping address.
Just to eliminate the confusion, I'm purchasing this for myself, but having it ship to skoker's house so I can pick it up at a later time.
