The interesting part is this -

The listing states the position will mean helping to develop “the very first iPhone/iPad app that uses a new API/framework in the next version of iOS”.

Sounds exciting! :D

It says in the next version? So iOS 7 we will see brand new API's and a new framework

There's tons of new APIs and frameworks for every release. Most, but not all, are of little consequence to users.
