I have been reading some posts talking about Final Cut Pro and the extent of real time capabilities. I saw that it is programmed to have more real time on more powerful machines (or should i say those that cost more money) and that it doesn't have as muchj to do with the actual power.

Since the PowerBook 1Ghz is the second to most expensive computer, of the apples, will I get more real time than I would from a PowerMac dual 1Ghz?

i certainly doubt it.

i think the talk of them programming the RT stuff for higher computers is taking advantage of the power, therefore, it's related.... and they might toss in that it doesn't work on computers below x cpu range, but i think dual gigs will certainly be better

though don't kid yourself too much, nothing too fancy is RT. just titles and simple transitions..... which is handy.
