Steve Jobs may be given a lot of credit--even too much--for a great deal of Apple's history.

But to his credit (no pun) he doesn't CLAIM that honor: he always says "we," and he always thanks the team for each new product. He doesn't try to come off as a one-man show.

Mike Ditka is credited with winning the '86 Superbowl. Yet, I didn't see his mustache out on the line of scrimmage!

To see a lot (but not all) of the anecdotes from the book, visit Andy Hertzfeld's web site Folklore.org (http://www.folklore.org/).
