Question about syncing calendars

I am currently using iCal on my Mac and the Calendar app on my iPhone, and all of my calendars and events sync fine. However, my calendar on iCloud is missing a few calendars/events, specifically the ones that are "subscribed." Why is my iCloud calendar out of the loop, and is there a way to fix this? The reason I'm asking is because I sometimes want to open up my calendar from a different computer, but it's frustrating when there are events missing. Thanks in advance!
