Shouldn't that be "Safari is still the number three Web browser."?

Safari checked in at 2.39 percent up from 2.20 percent and Netscape usage grew from 2.02 percent to 2.16 percent.

Yes, it's been #3 for quite a while. It's a BIGGER #3--slow but steady growth has been the pattern.

What's disturbing is IE gaining while Firefox slips!

As a result, Safari now has nearly 1/3 the share of Firefix. Of course I expect that will ebb and flow. (I just wish IE would ebb more!)

While being third isn't bad, the rank might be better described as second from last. When you're only 3 persent of the market your browser share can only get so high. But it is the best 3 persent.:D
