Stupid question regarding selling my iPod mini

I sold my iPod mini on ebay. Is there anything I need to do to it before I ship it to the lucky buyer? Deauthorize? Reset to factory conditions? Also, if I do need to do something, how do I go about it? Pardon my ignorance.

It never hurts to give it a factory restore, which is what the new owner is likely to do. Just install the iPod Updater (http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/) , connect the Mini to your computer, open updater and choose "Restore".
