Was on NFL.com yesterday using Gamecenter etc but today it's not working for me.

Each time I go there, it loads most of the page but then crashes Safari. Anyone got it not crashing?

Hmm, it just crashed Firefox too... I wonder if it's something to do with the video plug-in

I get problems with ESPN.com too, especially with video and their ads, along with game tracker.

Very irritating.

I have the same problem with ESPN.com. I think its Java-related. That seems to be about the only place I have trouble. I'll check NFL.com and report back.

EDIT: How do you get to Gamecenter? I don't see it listed in the sidebar.

The live scoreboards on NFL.com and Espn.com crash both Firefox and Safari for me too. The Flash-based gamecasts on ESPN work fine though.

I have avoided ESPN website altogether the last time this issue was brought up here. My Safari went dead soon after 😡

I'm running the current version of Safari in 10.3.9 and I have not had any problems yet. Maybe it's a Tiger thing?
FIY I'm running Safari 1.3.1 in Panther.

NFL.com opens cleanly with Safari, running Tiger, here.

But if it crashes for you, all the more reason to be running Camino!

(pretends to gasp at the thought that he's just started another "what's the best browser" thread ...)

It's working again now... but I swear, it crashed 3 times in Safari and twice in Firefox when I first posted! I wanted to watch my Lions highlights since they don't come along very often!
