Anyone else here had this problem? Using iTunes on Windows and it's only possible to see the window if I maximize it from the taskbar. If I restore it to a normal window it disappears completely! I've tried upgrading, uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same! I have no idea where it keeps its settings (I found one set of configs and deleted them, but made no difference - I'm guessing it's splodged stuff all over the registry like most other cr*p... I mean, fine apps on Windows! ;-) I've only seen this on Windows, not my Mac (which I can't use at work!)

Check your system tray. You may have the option to minimize down there- and then it might be hidden. edit>pref>advanced check box on the bottom saying 'Minimize iTunes window to system tray' Make sure it says show icon in system tray as well.

Yes, tried all the options. It's not in the tray - the button to restore/hide the window is on the taskbar as it should be, but if the window is not maximized, it is not visible. I'm guessing it's got screwed up somehow and managed to move itself outside the screen somewhere. When it's maximized, it's forced onto the screen.

It doesn't look like there's any way back for it (I'm not reinstalling 200+ GB of software and data ;-) ) I'm now looking for an app to convert iTunes format music files to MP3 so I can use something else. Any ideas on a good converter?
