Hi! I would love to use my 520c as my main machine, but obviously I can't do all of my work with a ~30 MHz 68040 . I would be fine with anything with at least XGA resolution and ~1 GHz with at least 512 MB of RAM.

Has anybody here successfully fit a new logic board, battery, and screen into their PowerBook? And which models have worked?

I think the G4 Mac Mini logic board would fit in there maybe? I don't think you're going to find a way to get a new screen in there though, it's such a weird size. This is after all a 1994 machine.

I think a G4 Mini's logicboard may be too tall. Maybe a 12" Powerbook or 11" Air's logicboard.

Thanks :)!

Would a 12" iBook G4's logic board fit? I know either way I'd have to cut out part of the bottom so that I can fit the battery in it. I have one lying around with a working battery and screen, even though the logic board is dead.
