Probably this was asked before, mostly because this app is so essential, but at the same time, a total disaster...

I have my music collection on my MacBook, which is connected to my hi-fi system.
The MacBook is running Lion 10.7.5 and iTunes 11.
I want to control iTunes with remote app.
Both my MacBook and my iPad are connected to the same network, wirelessly.
Home sharing is turned on both my MacBook and my iPad.

On my iPad remote app I want to add an iTunes library... But on my MacBook - nothing. Nothing prompts, no iPad device anywhere. Nowhere to enter the "4 digit code"

I've read every guide and every manual I could find, but nothing.

Although I'm very sceptic that this issue can be solved, I'm asking for you guys if you have any other advice...

You may control your Macbook remotely using any of the numerous apps for remote access. For example, RDM+ HD application for iPad. It has simple UI and several great features, including full remote control of your Mac or PC, wireless touchpad and more.
