I have one of the first 17" powerbooks made, and it came with the Nvidia GeForce4 MX 440, 64 MB. I know it doesn't support Core Image, which is a slight disappointment.
However I just ordered a Dell 2005FPW, which is a rotating display. People say rotating display support is built into Tiger, but it also depends on the GPU doesn't it? A friend of mine with a 12" pb and a Nvidia GPU doesn't have rotating support.
Question is ... is there something I'm missing, can someone with a Rev A 17" pb confirm that this isn't possible, and if it's not possible, are there updated drivers that will support it? I know there are drivers on the PC side, but none for the Mac side that I have found so far.
Thoughts? Kinda wished that having the top of the line laptop (at the time) meant something.
