Hi guys,

Yesterday, I accidentally broke the LCD panel of my HP dv2700 and I was wondering if I can replace it myself if I buy a new LCD.

Big thanks to anyone who help me.

As is the case with most of these questions. If you have to ask if you can do it, then you probably can't. It's a pretty easy job though if you are half way capable.

It's going to run you about $40-60 on Ebay if you want to buy one. Your computer is probably worth about $200 fully functional on Ebay and half that or less with the broken LCD.
