Ok - I'm dropping out of school - gonna start my own business - The IRS is very clear about writing a computer off as a biz deduction ... no personal use allowed. The system I use for the biz just needs to handle web - email - accounting - documents - flyers - etc.
I've got a mini which I could xfer to the business - but I still want a mac desktop for personal use - email - light gaming - Garage Band - Itunes - etc
And I want to keep this under $900. So it looks like either
- I buy a second mini + LCD
- Buy a refurbed 17" G5
- Buy and eMac (but whats the story on these - are they still being made - all I see are refurbs on the Apple sight)
And - in general - whats been your experience buying refurbed iMacs / eMacs
