Dear folks

I've tried to search for a free + simple note taking / copy paste app with basic formatting and basic HTML support, but not found anything

No synching cloud etc needed ... But would be nice to be able to send documents / pages to
Box dot com. This is NOT a necessity

I need to cut and paste large : long web pages and read them . Sometimes I also take basic notes . These ate the only needs

Could someone help please

I need to cut and paste web pages and read them offline

Evernote on iOS forces me to synch and has a pretty all quota on the free version. So that isn't good for me

Simplenote as far as I see is pure text and NO HTML

any help is appreciated

Regards

Subu

You should try Pocket or Instapaper.
Of course these are just for bookmarking pages on their services to "read later".

Notability is what I use, and although 99% of human beings will disagree with me, the whole "subscribe per year" model on Evernote = Big letdown.
Notability can sync to dropbox by the way.
