what is the view from the window where you work on your mac ? it can be at home, at work, even on a plane!

it must be from where your mac is, and unless you work on the beach, no tropical scenery!

(by the way, when i say 'work' i mean use your mac:D)

right, here we go: the view from my hall room at lboro.

(also, camera phones are accepted, as you may not have the ready use of a digicam at work).

Pretty nice for the only view from my dorm room. That garden in front is full of flowers in the summer and in the spring the little trees have tons of white flowers. Best landscaping on campus. :D

It's dark outside now so its a bit difficult to see. (Yeah, that's snow on the ground).

I'll try to get some better pictures tomorrow.

Edit: Found some pictures taken back in June. They're not taken from within the room I have my computers, but it's close enough.

The view from our living room window, looking northwards across the city from fifth floor level. Great for watching thunderstorms!

The view from the southfacing side is nicer views across the city centre, the river and across to Lincolnshire but the flats on that side a bit more pricey. ;) I've attached a pic of that view too, taken from the stairwell.

Here's the view from my G4-ish area window (it was two pictures, just opened in preview and placed next to eachother...). As you can see, it's a bit snowy! We snowblow a path to the shed so we can get the tractor out.

SolidSnake, where are you located? It looks a lot like it could be the metro Boston area or near me.

View outside my window:

http://mexbox.mit.edu/images/fall2004/IMG_1749.JPG

Took the photo last year right after Game 4 of the playoffs from the balcony outside my dorm room. When its nice outside I'll usually sit on the balcony to work.. today's the first time we've seen sun over here in Boston for over a week and a half :)

Hello my fellow Cantabrigian. If that's the view from your dorm room then that could only mean that you go to MIT. You can see the Pru from the Harvard dorms on the Charles, but the angle would be different and you would need a telephoto for it to look that good. The newer BU buildings would also obstuct the view.

San Antonio is pretty ugly, this is attractive as I have seen it.

How I long for the view of Europe...

Was meant to post this a few weeks ago when the neighbours actually put them up, but I totally forgot all about it.

PS. Sorry you have to tilt your head to look at it!

Just beautiful!Ah, there's nothing like waking up to the sound of dumpsters being emptied...

:p

On the place we used to live the trash was picked up from right outside our ground floor bedroom window, typically at 7 AM... :(

But, since we moved last summer I've more or less not seen or heard a garbage truck. Our house lies about 50 m (150 ft) from a dedicated garbage shed, and the collectors don't come until about 10 AM... :D
