Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone knows why my Apple TV is showing up as 'Apple TV (2)'

Not too sure why it has the 2 in brackets...

Thanks.

I'm not clear what is causing it, but you are not alone it appears.

Usually things like this happen when the network already sees a device with the same name and it will append a number to it. Do you only have one Apple TV?

Yes just the one Apple TV... Was can I do to my network to make it not see both then reset it... I did recently get a Airport Express maybe my old router and the new Airport Express are seeing it?

Ah... that is interesting. How do you have the two routers configured? Maybe shut down the Express and see if that fixes it? Just to help troubleshoot.

okay

Just change the device name. It's under settings>general. I think.
