Hi all,
Well I'm getting Mac fever. I have an iMac G5 here to play with (borrowed), and was just at the Apple store playing with a PowerMac G5 2.7, with 1 gig RAM and the 30" screen. Pretty impressive machine. However, with this announcement potentially imminent regarding new dual core processors, I have to wait and see.
The question is...based on Apple history, if they DO announce these dual core machines on Wednesday October 19, what kind of time delay would one expect before the machines are actually available for purchase? Or have these times been all over the map? I'm not in a HUGE hurry for a new computer, but something in the next 3-4 months would be nice...
