Good article, and probably a good book. This guy is definitely a Mac fan. His website reveals that he has written a bunch of Mac books like iPod and iTunes for Dummies, iLife '04 for Dummies, etc. There's a good discussion about this article going on Slashdot now too.

"just say no to micro$oft" sounds like "just say no to drugs"...

come to think of it, it is basically the same ;)

A little long, but a fun article. People just need to realize they have choices, most don't though. Most people think M$ created the internet and everything else computer related. Need some type of global de-brainwashing machine to wake people up. Maybe that nifty light flashing gadget from the Men in Black movie, haha.

Thanks for mentioning the interview and book. I think the Men in Black light flashing gadget, in my case, was an early Mac (around 1986, pre-PageMaker). That did it for me. Except that I've always had to say "yes" to MS in order to maintain my professional careers as a computer book writer and analyst. When it came to multimedia development or publishing, the Mac won every time. Now, Open Source and Linux are intriguing. I'm happy to finally say no to MS.
