iPod video. Looking foward to it. CEPT all my videos wont convert!

1. I've tried Quicktime Pro 7.0.3. It takes DAYS to export. It's rediculus.

2. I've tried to use ffmpegX. The movies I convert are not opening in Quicktime. I am getting this message

QuickTime cannot open the file:
"MST3K_CREEPING_TERROR.mp4" [for any video i use]
an invalid sample description was found in the movie
(-2041)

anyone have any clue what is going on? This is going to drive me up a tree.

Thanks

Yeah... I'm trying to export a 4.5 minute move and it's taking forever...
I'm exporting/converting on my PowerBook, I'd imagine a Dual Procesor to go faster...

So it's not just you...

my dual 867 g4 and 1.5ghz pbook take about the same amount of time...and they both take forever...

I'm thinking they tested this out on a dual 2.5 G5...
