iPhone Weird thing never seen before in maps

I have just searched for a navigation from my house to somewhere else and a list of transport apps have popped up?

Never seen this before, I have waze and google maps on my phone so that was on the top and other "recommended" apps

What's caused this and how can I stop it?

Sounds like you had the 'bus' icon selected for method of transportation.

Switch it back to car and you'll be fine.

Apple doesn't have public transportation built into its maps, so it offers you other apps to do it for you.
