Evernote Food (http://evernote.com/food/), Evernote's app dedicated to documenting cooking and dining experiences, was today updated (http://blog.evernote.com/blog/2013/03/19/evernote-food-for-ios-update-opentable-reservations-ratings-recipe-sharing-and-more/) to version 2.1. The release brings OpenTable reservations and Foursquare ratings to the universal app, allowing users to book seatings at restaurants within the app.

In addition, users are now able to share recipes via Facebook, Twitter, or email, and new tag-based syncing capabilities have been implemented in the standard Evernote app. Recipes that are saved to Evernote can be synced with Evernote Food.

I love Evernote for scribbling down random things I need to remember, as I can always access it from my work PC, home Apple stuff, iPhone etc. But I'm not interested in any add-ons or bells and whistles like this, all I need is a basic cloud-based text editor!
