need help from anyone who got the ipod rebate deal

What type of reciept did you send in to get your ipod mini rebate. I dont think i got a reciept with the ibook or ipod when i recived it so i just send in the web order summary that has prices, date i purchased and everything. But now i got a letter from apple in the mail saying that the web order summary is not a valid reciept and i cant get the rebate, unless i send in a proper reciept by November 13.

This sucks.

That's what I sent in and got my rebate back just fine.. 😕
 
I ordered form the web as well; but, I sent in the reciepts that they emailed... no letter saying they want anything else yet, no check yet either but hey who knows when it'll get here...

well that sucks, im going to send it in again. if i end up not getting this rebate its enough to turn me off of apple products for good.

i sent mine in august and i just got the letter back today saying that i sent in the wrong receipt.
 
If you ordered from Apple, they send via USPS a receipt in a separate envelope, usually a few days before your item arrives. That is the one to send in.
 
i believe i sent the "invoices" for both the ibook and ipod that i got from e-mails since i bought them online. I got my rebate about a month ago.

I ordered online, and they did send me an invoice by mail... but I couldn't find them at the time I sent in my rebate. So I ended up printing out the e-mailed invoices (the PB and iPod had separate invoices) and sent them in... sent those instead.
 
you send in the e-mail that they sent that says something similar to "your apple invoice" keyword being invoice. That's what you want to send in. I just printed my invoice out that they sent to my e-mail for the rebate, and that's all you need for proof of purchase...besides the upc label of course from the iPod mini box.
 
My girlfriend recevied a letter saying she sent the wrong receipt, and I just called the number on the letter and the rep straightened things out and the check came in the mail. I would say just call . . .
 
yeah, have you contacted apple? when i was unclear on just what to send, I called and the rep told me that online/emailed invoices would be fine. she also had me to include a note that the ibook and the ipod did not ship together.
