It's a band! Pop Will Eat Itself. PWEI. The Poppies. PWEIZATION in the PEWEINATION baby.

They started what, lae 80's or so. They had a song in Ferrris Bueller's Day Off (when he's in the shower) that never made it to the actual soundtrack, for some reason...

Awesome band. I HIGHLY reccomend them!

New singles and albums are due VERY early next year, and that's pretty much definite. ;) they've all but confirmed through a posting they made wanting to hire animators, and with posts by Fuzz in the boards. :D

I'm not completely sure what to make of if... I think like bartelby says, the shop is likely as that was announced earlier this year, so it could be anything from just a shop launch through to single/album announcement, maybe a short tour again... who knows, but I'm dead excited. :D

damn right fella ;) it's more diverse set of choons than I was expecting... :D

Standouts for me, 'The Demon' is sounding sweet as, some tight pukka percussion from Townsend, and menacing words from Clint. :D

'Everyday Is A World War' kinda like a cross between 'Dos Dedos Mis Amigos/The Looks Or The Lifestyle' era PWEI, with a sprinkling of U2 (of all bands I know) but I guess that makes sense considering how much U2 took from PWEI when they went all 'Zooropa' :eek:

Tis' really cool to finally hear a quality recording of 'T+A=$' at last... :D takes me right back to '94/'95 era PWEI when they were completely massive sonically.

It's sweet that they're keep up the self sampling tradition with 'Gonna Get You Baby' which cheekily samples the bass synth from 'Party' off Clints 'Requiem For A Dream' soundtrack. :D

Loving 'Punk Rock Band', outstanding satirical commentary on the current 'Punk' scene, you know the one I'm on about.... thosemuthaf**kin'hardcorepunkrockersgreenday and the *****. :p

'Nosebleeder Turbo' is real mid '90's drum 'n' bass, after seeing Fuzz pull of "Their Law' live, I reckon he could nail this bad boy live too. ;)

Almost forgot the 'Babylon' aping atmosphere of 'Wasted'...

And I ain't letting that 'R.S.V.P' intro slip though either... master stroke, ease us in after a decade of waiting :D

Once they sprinkle that magic PWEI pixie dust... should be a cracking album. :D
