Once again Facebook makes a completely unnecessary and inferior change to its layout

Now when you click "about", previously the only quick and efficient link to a person's main info: school/current city/relationship status, you are just taken to a redundant screen with a second set of links to friends, photos, and favorites (who cares?) that were all on the previous page and have zero to do with anything "about" their personal information that would be of interest to someone looking to connect with/find or identify someone. You then have to click "about" again to get to that original page that contained that info. Are they just trying to make their site as inefficient and user unfriendly as possible???

Also, they now blacked out the search bar it looks terrible
