Sorry, im a bit of a newbie at this so guys just go with it :)

So i put windows 7 ultimate on my Early 2011 15' MBP (high end) through bootcamp, i then upgraded to windows 8 pro using an upgrade- went well. But i pressed the transfer nothing (should have clicked programs because thats where bootcamp assistant is and all the drivers). Nothing worked so i just wiped the windows partition and am wanting to start again.

now when i download the support software, my mac says that it only supports windows 7 (apples online page says that my mac has windows 8 support). Do you think it is still safe to do the upgrade? Like i dont see why not but i jsut need more opinions.

So what im trying to say is, if i click the upgrade with all programs and settings, do you think that will work?

Bootcamp is running version 5.0.2

Thank you all in advance. :)
