Does any one know where to get the desktop picture that apple is using to advertise the new Powerbooks? If so, link please??

Do you mean the one from Apple's site (http://www.apple.com/powerbook/)? You can try a search at Corbis (http://pro.corbis.com/). Apple usually uses images from Corbis in there stuff. And someone had the same questions you did a long while back and the image was found at Corbis.

In case anyone didn't know Corbis is Bill Gates' "other company", like Pixar is the Steve's "other company",

yeah i wanted the desktop pics too...anyone has them?

EDIT: anyone with the desktop pic that they use to ad the apple displays?

Do you have that in a higher resolution, such as 1680x1050?
