The way to actually BUY a G5 is to place a purchase order with check attached for, say $2999.00. I admit the likelihood of it being fulfiulled is low, but if it is . . . . that's news.

Also Apple has been sampling G5 chips so they have the capability to build G5's as needed probably for Government programs and software authors initially. So if you are associated with a government entity, then use their PO.

This way the contract they have with the government for first issue chips will go to you.

Not an impractical idea.
