I have just installed a new hard drive and updated it with OS X. As you can image it had a large number of software updates to catch up with when I turned it on....

.... I know I should have been plugged in at the mains, but I was not and the computer turned off during software updates!

Now I cannot get passed the white screen with apple logo and spinning 'loading' circle...

Pressing C during start up does not do anything!

Pressing Alt takes me to the option of loading from my hard drive or Mac OS X disc that is in the drive..... But clicking on either of them does nothing....

What do I do..... I could really do with wiping the hard drive clean and starting from scratch again!
