It's refreshing how clear interviews with Glenda Adams always are.
Note that this site is not the official wideload site, it's a wideload fan site.
Anyways, one quote:
"Worg: With Apple's OpenGL still apparently a little behind DirectX in certain areas, are there any effects you've had difficulty implementing on the Mac, or has working closely with Wideload obviated that issue?
Glenda: Render targets have been an issue, and we've had some difficulties on and off finding the best solution for getting static vertex and index data (VARs, VBOs/IBOs, etc) on the video card. We eventually settled on implementations on the Mac and PC that were slightly different but gave the best stability and performance."
