Well folks, the time has come for me to part with my beloved iMac. He's served me well through thick and thin, but he's not feeling as comfy on my lap as that 15" PowerBook...
So here are the basic specs before I ramble on too much:
15" iMac G4
800MHz PowerPC Processor
512MB SDRAM (2x256)
60GB Hard Drive (7200RPM)
Combo Drive (32x10x40x12)
32MB nVidia GeForce 2 MX (1024x768)
Airport Wireless Card
Apple Pro Speakers
Apple Pro Keyboard
Apple Pro Mouse
As I mentioned above, the only reason I'm letting this machine go is to upgrade to a laptop. Otherwise, this machine has a lot of use left in it, especially as a starter Mac for you or a child, or as a second machind to have around the house. I have to be honest, I did buy this machine reconditioned from Apple about 2 years ago (09/2003). Honestly, I don't think that effects anything, but I feel better knowing that you know. Only 2 consequences: ships in a brown box ("Apple Computer Reconditioned Product"), but the machine was manufactured more recently than most comparable iMacs.
It is in very good condition, sitting on my desk in my nook for most of the his life. A small scratch on the back of one of the speakers, and normal usage with the keyboard and mouse (i.e. a few little hairs stuck under the plastic of the keyboard). I bought this machine with my own money when I was 13, so I've been pretty anal about keeping it in good condition.
Also, I don't have any definite credibility as far as eBay feedback or "past clientele." However, I'm really just looking to get some money in my hands ASAP, and I have been a fairly active member here at MR for more than 2 years.
I have a good idea of how much I'd like to get for this machine, but I don't want to list a price just yet. So, please, if you are interested, reply to this thread, email me (arminv@bellsouth.net), or AIM: realityisterror. I'm open to some negotiation, but I'm not interested in any trades. As far as payment, I'm thinking PayPal would be best, but if you could some how get me a check or money order that would be more convenient for me (I'm not terribly familiar with online buying and selling). But if you are interested, I'm sure we can work something out. :D
Of course, the standard picture gallery (http://www.arminvosough.com/images/index.php?album=imac&sortby=modified&order=dsc).
Thanks again MR, I'd really love to be able to ship this machine out this weekend. :)
