Just used a Windows 7 laptop and it had a cool program called WiDi which allowed me to view the laptop on my TV via a Belkin router.
Doe Mac have a similar program for the MacAir please? Can't seem to find one.

This is a "box" I believe? I already have a Belkin and just need the software to "talk" to it or is it only a Windows device? Can't seem to make any sense of the Belkin site!

Airplay is a piece of software. Part of OSX on newer versions of the OS and newer macs. There was a thread about it in the ATV forum recently which detailed which models supported Airplay. My 2007 iMac does not support it but my 2011 MBA and 2012 Ipad Mini do.
