I was really happy with my Duet Firewire until I upgraded to MountainLion. Though I have installed the latest S/W from Apogee (feb. 2013) I keep having problems.

The most reproducible is whenever I disconnect the firewire (which happens, since I run on a MacBook that I occasionally moves around with). The problems occur whether I disconnect "live" or if I let the Mac go into sleep mode first. Upon reconnecting several things MAY go wrong: guitar input to Logic is clipped and distorted; no audio at all; Itunes will not play; keyboard-control for muting speakers (F10) no longer responds, just to name a few.

Anyone with similar experiences, and suggestions on what to do?

Sydney, Australia.
Does a reset help? ie. Hold down volume knob until all LEDs light up.

I used mine just for audio playback without any Apogee software and a reset generally fixed any issues I had.

No, not really. In fact, when doing so, the LED keeps lighting up in the red area, on on both IN-1 and IN-2 - should they not revert to "0"?
