Hey, I just recently noticed that the new 15" PB's display has 1440x960 pix. resolution. I heard that 15" now got the res. of previous gen 17" PB, but it had 1440x900!

I thought that all Apple's computers with widescreen displays have 16x10 ratio, but 1152x768 (1st gen PB) is 15x10, 1280x864 (prev. PB's res.) is roughly 14.8x10 and 1440x960 is 15x10 ratio. So it looks like ALL 15 inch PowerBook G4s never had 16x10 screen ratio. Hmm why?

You ask me "why did you mention 17 inch iMac in the thread's headline?"

So here's the answer: I will get it soon!!! :D
We already paid (1750$) for it and I'm waiting for it to arrive here! :D Can't wait

Oh by the way its 17" 2 GHz (2nd gen) :D

I had to share my joy with you! :)

The 15" PowerBook was never "true" widescreen, and few people realize that. ;)
