I've never gotten Netflix to work on the original Tab. That is why I sold it and got a Nexus 7 instead.

I sold it to a coworker who was looking for a reasonably cheap upgrade from her e-ink e-reader.

I think I charged her $150, but I included a 16GB SD card, HDMI dock, RCA TV-out cable, and a couple of ebooks in the deal.

I went and got a Nexus 7 the same day. The Galaxy Tab is capable of a teeny bit more (use as a phone, TV-out, rear camera)... but I am happy with the nicer resolution, newer OS, size and battery life of the Nexus 7.
