Had a brain wave last night about the perfect way to arrange my monitors.
Makes for some cool desktop patterns, and minimizing something to the dock is a lot more fun from the top screen to see it zoom down past the second screen. :D

looks cool, but do you have different resolutions on the monitors? in that second pic it just looks like the top monitor is at a higher rez than the laptop

Yeah, the PowerBook is 1280 px wide, the monitor is 1344 px wide.

I do that sometimes with a Dell 1905FP at school. Love those height-adjustment legs. :)

Take it one step, and $10000 further...
four 30" stack on top of one another!
*drool*
Someone give me $40k for a sweet PM, and another $10k for monitors and videocards, and I will research this on behalf of the whole community..
RESEARCH... that's the ticket....

I set up twin 23" Apple Cinemas for a customer, in a similar configuration, above their "his & hers" 15" AlBooks side by side on a large desk, in front of a picture window overlooking the sea.
Sweet.
Sorry, no pictures.

W-O-W. That is alot of money. And a beautiful display. I wonder who would pay $109,950 (that's educational pricing) for a DISPLAY. That's rediculous!

In the article, it actually says 25 PMs also. *drools anyway at a display and drivers that cost as much as a very high end car*

SEVERAL high-end cars.
Heck, I'd take the Metro everywhere if I could have one of those!
..or it could BUILD me a car! WOAH!
the sad thing is-- I'd only use it for MR, email, and Adium. Hehehe.
/I'd like to see an "insufficient bandwidth" message with that!
//Oh yea... that has nothing to do with it
///still bitter about having "insufficient bandwidth" for an iChat video thingiee. :(

I just called Best Buy, RadioShack, Ultimate Electronics, and would you believe it none of them have a 204.8 Megapixel projector capable of throwing an image 25600x8000. ;)

I foresee the PowerBook DS! its not in the conventional series of PowerBook, rather a spin-off as the sequel to the PowerBook is coming out next year. The bottom screen is touch sensitive and comes with a demo of Marathon: Hunters and Dogcow DS.
Battery life is abominable, but it is backwards compatible with current PowerBook games.
