I decided to get rid of Bootcamp on my 2008 Alum Macbook because I will be giving it to my sister. I had bootcamp installed by a friend in school but that was around 3 years ago. He moved back to his childhood state so he is not around to help me out.

I got rid of the partition but the problem is, whenever I start up the laptop, I still have to hold the Option button so I can log into the Mac partition. How do I get rid of this so the macbook can just automatically start up in iOS?

Macbooks run Mac OS X, not iOS. To fix that, open the System Preferences and go to the Startup preference pane and select the Mac OS X partition within it.
