I've been relying on the stock Android browser and Chrome but I've had a fair share of problems with both. So, are there any other good alternatives?

Dolphin is going to be smoother than Chrome. But you won't get open tab sync from desktop to phone as easily as with Chrome. Plus password sync, bookmark sync, and all other benefits that come with Chrome.

I've always used Firefox Beta. Added bonus if you use Firefox on desktop.

don't recommend firefox.

Try Chrome or Opera (the new webkit one, you will find few versions).

I'm not dependant on sync. As for Opera beta, I've used it but it's a bit on the buggy side (granted, it's a beta) and lacks some functionality.

Guess I'll give Dolphin a shot.

If you're not invested in any Chrome Sync services then I think you will enjoy Dolphin. Let me know what you end up going with. I'm curious :D

Yep. I have found that, I have used dolphin and firefox, but miss the sync, I use to to switch from phone to PC and back.

Really? I have found firefox and the stock browser on all of my Android devices to be much more stable than Chrome. I have pretty much ditched Chrome all the way around. But I want to check out Dolphin now too.

Firefox beta FTW, integrates nicely with desktop browser and runs great.

Chrome Beta > Chrome

If you need flash then Firefox Beta.

It depends on device though. Try everything and see which works the best for you.

Firefox would be a lot better if they improved the UI but it's a solid browser and you can install AdBlock on it ;)

Ended up with Dolphin.

If I need Chrome sync, Chrome is still installed on my phone.

I am not having problems with Chrome currently, but when I was I went to Dolphin and it was great. I just like the synching Chrome does across my Nexus 7 and Mac.

That's the only reason I use Chrome. But when I notice too much lag I switch to Dolphin.

What about chrome beta? I hear good things about it compared to stable chrome.
