Hi all,

I have today brought a usb bluetooth adaptor which works just fine with my apple wireless mouse (the first gen) now the problem comes along with the keyboard (apple bluetooth keyboard first gen.) The iMac G4 finds it connects to it asks me to type in the past code and then goes no further, I just get paring attempt unsuccessful but the keyboard will pair just fine on the mbp. Occasionally at random A box will appears on the iMac saying to enter a passcode but this also fails every time as well. I have included screenshots of the keyboard connecting to the iMac G4 and mbp to give a visual aid to where its all going wrong.

Thanks in advance.

This will happen when the BT device is incompatible with the BT adapter. I don't know whether or not it occurs under other circumstances.
