hi guys.

i have searched the forums and did not find the answer. so i thought of posting a new thread.

i would like to buy the HK Soundsticks and i would like to plug it to my Airport Express and use AirTunes.

would this work?

Yes. I do the same, but with SoundWorks speaker/amplifier for computer.
 
redAPPLE, do you have the SoundSticks I or the SoundSticks II? The difference between the two is that the former connects to a computer via a usb port and the latter via a headphone jack. I am certain the SoundSticks II will work with AirTunes (you just have to keep the speakers plugged into the external power source). As for the SoundSticks I, I do not know. I have a pair, I'll try it out when I get a chance and let you know.
 
My HK Sound Stick II is plugged into Airport Express via speaker mini-jack

it has been working well for 6 months now in airtunes
 
I have an airport express to extend my wireless network. I just recently attempted to connect my Harmon Kardon speakers with usb, but I am having no luck. I have read that speakers with the audio jack work fine. Is it possible to connect with the USB sound sticks? Is there a USB to audio jack convertor to help?
