Hello. I just installed my crucial M4 256gb ssd yesterday on my 2010 white macbook 7,1 in the HDD bay. I know my machine is 3G only. Do these speeds look ok? Not sure what I should be getting

IMHO, they look fine.
Keep in mind, that for your usage, raw data throughput (, which is what blackmagic tests) is not the real benefit of an SSD, but instead the transfer (read) speed of thousands of small files.

So more important, how quickly does your MB boot?

I haven't timed it. I'll do that now. But honestly I thought it would of booted a little quicker than it does. It's definitely faster than before.
