Hello all,
I have a late 2012 Mini that I have my old Acer monitor connected to. Currently the monitor is hooked up using an hdmi to dvi cable (the included adapter wouldn't work for me). I just purchased this Asus monitor and was wondering what cable I would need to buy to run a dual monitor setup.

Is the mini display port and the thunderbolt port the same thing? The monitor says it has a display port so could I use a thunderbolt to display port cable?

TIA

Steve

Yes mDP and Thunderbolt are the same thing. Get an mDP to DP cable then and be done.
