I just went to look at the NBC app and was reading an article that stated that Apple was planing on releasing a smaller version of the iPad and wondered why they would make one smaller than a mini. I then realized it never mentioned a mini and then noticed the date on the article as being from last July. I then looked at all the articles on the tech page and they are all dated from last July including one about making the 4th a better holiday or something like that.
I then checked the app on my iPhone and it is the same, all articled from last July.
Notice the Boston news at the top is the only current thing.
As of 3.42 AM, Sunday, the app is back to normal.
