Hi fellow buyers and sellers, I am at work and do not have access to eBay or anywhere that could give me a fair price for a machine.
Its a dual 1.25 MDD
Combo
1 GB ram
60 or 80 (co worker cant remember)
Any thoughts on a fair price for this?

Hey Rob,
A dual MDD 1.25 still sells for >$1k, Ebay prices of course.
Hard to gauge its 'fair' price.

Actually I didn't see a single 1.25ghz combo drive sans monitor powermac on ebay over $900. In fact many super drive models, models with more ram, and modeles with multiple hard drives are priced under $900 on ebay. Only machines over $1k are with monitors.

I see a half dozen that sold for $1k USD. Yes, folks no monitor.
$800 is not accurate.
As I said its hard to gauge, depends how / where the person wants to sell, and how well the ad is put together.
done here.

I'm not going to get into an argument over pmac prices.
To the thread starter: All powermacs on ebay that match your description, and have received bids, fall below $900 (including completed sales). In addition there are better machines on ebay that can be had between $800 and $900. There are some MDD powermacs that do not match your description that are over $1000.

Thanks all for your response.
I wont know the full details of the machine until I see it, but I want to be fair to the person as much as possible. We are not allowed to view eBay from work, so thats why I asked here.
Thanks everyone.
