I have been trying to submit an app to the app store but it got rejected twice now. Followings are the "out of ordinary" elements that can be found in the app.

The app has a screen which acts like the facebook news feed and it gets updated with new contents each time the screen is opened. And a video sharing option is available in the system which uses youtube for sharing. So, any shared videos comes in the news feed as a embedded youtube link in a web view. Do you think that this would have caused the app to be rejected?

The next point is, that there is a requirement that all screen navigations has to be happened in a way similar to iOS facebook app's mechanism of switching to chat from news feed or to the left side pane. The screen should slide off to either left or side while leaving about 1/5 th of the screen visible at the edge. Due to this requirement, instead of having separate UIViewcontrollers for each screen, they are all implemented in the same UIViewController, but in varios UIViews. UIView animations are used to implement the screen navigation-like effect. Could this have been causing the rejection?

Thanks!

Is this something that you can ask apple for more details?

Do the YouTube feeds need flash?
This could be the issue as well, we all know apples feelings on Flash.
Or possibly it is too similar to another app already available?

Well, when they rejected your app what exactly did they say?
Doesnt help to guess what they didn't like without seeing what they said caused the rejection
