I've bought up a Mac Mini with a thunderbolt port (it should be here in a day or two). I'm planning on running Windows on it. Will the Thunderbolt port still get the same speeds under Windows? Will it even work under Windows?

Just thinking about getting a good thunderbolt external drive, but didn't want to waste money if it wouldn't work with Windows.

Thanks!

It will work with windows, but most likely won't be hot pluggable. So will only work if plugged in at boot time, then it will just appear as another PCIe device to the system.
