Why can you not use Find My Mac without a recovery partition?

I want to do a RAID-0 soon, but then I won't have a recovery partition, therefore I won't be able to utilize Find my Mac.

I like the find my mac feature just in case something happened to it.

Why does this limitation exist? Is there anyway to get around it?
