Hello everyone,

I burn at lot of content on iDVD, to I can watch on my big screen. Most of the content is HDTV based, meaning a nice big resolution (624 x 352) typically. I have to use a few programs so it burns properly since it's Widescreen [I use this stuff: http://capital2.capital.edu/admin-staff/dalthoff/widescreen.html] The settings in iDVD are for Best Quality but on the TV they still looks quite blocky and poor. Why? Am I doing something wrong, or is this just a restriction on iDVD?

Thanks,

lieb39

1. What is the source of the videos you are burning w/iDVD?
2. HDTV is either 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
3. Any DVD you make with iDVD is going to be SD (standard def) not HD. So for PAL users that's 720x576 (IIRC).
DVD quality MPEG-2 is, relatively speaking, not great. So you just might be seeing the limits of the format.
