iTunes 11 on Windows 8 64-bit.

I bought Avatar in HD in iTunes. The purchase includes an iTunes Extras file that is 7.15 GB. I don't really want it on my PC - I don't need a local copy. However, whenever I sync my iPhone or iPad with iTunes, iTunes checks for available downloads and starts to download the file again. It's a waste of bandwidth.

Do I have to let it finish and then delete it locally? I don't have automatic downloads turned on for anything. I did download the movie itself onto my PC - does iTunes think the download is incomplete until the iTunes Extras file is downloaded?

You'll either have to let it finish or contact customer support and ask them to remove it from your download queue.
